BMW R1200R COMMUTER
Starting with a San Francisco commuter that wanted a lighter feeling bike in the city and the ability to still travel 2 up....
We started with getting rid of all of the plastic around the headlight and instrument cluster as well the seat and tail section.
The stock headlight surround was cut down and a new mounting bracket was fabricated. The same bracket that held the instruments also mounted the headlight.
Using a Motodemic LED headlight & headlight mounts and Motogadget Turn signals took care of that.
A set of aluminum saddlebags were powder coated black to match the look & feel of of the project
We kept the stock set but removed all of the plastic around it and fabricated something much smaller out of aluminum and powder coated it black.
We contacted Kineo for a set of custom spoke wheels.
Here is some of the parts we used in this build.
