CHECK OUT THIS BUILD ON: Pipeburn!
RW: I am thinking about retiring in the next few years, as well as doing motorcycle tours around the world. I want to have a bike I can tour through New England & the surrounding area. I don't want a new bike. I don't want an old bike. I want something built for me! I like cafe racers, but I also like to have luggage. How can I do that?? Detail in a build is very important to me. That bolt, that bracket, that seat, & that look and feel has to be perfect.
BM: We can do that! Any other requirements?
RW: Yes, I am short.
BM: Okay! We will build you a vintage BMW with modern brakes, more horsepower, a custom frame, gas tank, & seat to fit your needs.
WE STARTED WITH A 1982 R100T & DID THE FOLLOWING TO IT...
-Narrowed the main motorcycle frame.
-Built a custom rear frame, narrowed it as well.
-Took the stock gas tank & narrowed it & added a /5 flip style gas cap.
-With two custom seats. One for touring & one for pushing the ton, both allowing quick release saddle bag mounts for Wolfman enduro bags there is enough room for a change of clothes, couple bottles of wine, & a few nice cigars. A motorcycle built for a great weekend get away!

The bike also has quick release saddlebag mounts & Wolfman Luggage.
